GeGnome Project

Welcome to theGeGnome Project

The game runs from 01-Dec-2010 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2011 23:59:59.

The fun has Concluded.

This game requires you to hide a moving cache on Geocaching Australia. Specifically your geocaching must be a garden gnome. Yes, a real garden gnome. Not a plastic box you call a garden gnome, a genuine, real life, garden gnome.

The game software will keep an automatic track of your cache and will automatically calculate distances and stops as your cache moves around the country.

There are multiple prizes on offer for:

  • The cache that moves the furthest distance in the game period
  • The cache that accumulates the most number of moves in the game period provided the owner hasn't already won a prize
  • The cache that moves the furthest distance in the game period in a single move provided the owner hasn't already won a prize
  • Random cachers who move a cache in the game period
  • Other prizes as deemed suitable by the games oraganiser such as, but not restricted to:
