Xanadu went on quite a little caching spree on this sun-shiny afternoon - whizzing up, up, up to the top of the Columbia Tower - the tallest building in the Emerald City (2nd highest on the West Coast, and most # of stories - 76 - west of the Mississippi.) Thanks for another 7 pts. aviatrix22! |

Clearly the fun has suddenly waned rather sharply for little Xanadu's ATWI80C adventures, but may as well leastwise log a final feat before the sparkly boy went missing... ;(
Thanks to CacheN.B.NW for moving Xanadu from Fort Apache cache to Grave Robber - Stone Cold Dead cache. The move clearly qualifies for "moves 10 times or more" (indeed, a rough count puts the sparkly trinket at nearly **50** moves since the start of the race! |

Talk about "Grave Robber - Stone Cold Dead"... ;(
How ironic, that after starting out with such a magnificent bang (being toted 'round to some of the most outstanding feats by a most kindly and dedicated assortment of Emerald City cachers!), little Xanadu would end up M.I.A. in a "Stone Cold Dead" cache of all places!
Yep, sad to say our little sparkly lad is apparently a goner - confirmed missing for nearly 2 months now as evidenced in this log:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=4dfbdadd-c790-4896-a6ff-b9fd08c27646
Ah well, given that the race is but days from being over, looks like Xanadu will end up in 3rd place - not a bad showing at all! Even better, all together the little guy averaged 7+ pts. per feat - the highest of ANY other balloon in the race!
A great big WAYTAGOOOOooooooooo, Xanadu! Many thanks to avroair for devising this fine game, as well as to All who aided my little Xanadu along the way. |

Way ta goooooo, Snowwolf75! Yet another 6 pointer - for dropping dear Xanadu in the Temecula Valley Geocaching Event III - a "mega" event extraordinaire! And for the record, as per the rules - this is NOT a "consecutive" move by the same geocacher (Snowwolf75) 'cuz another cacher (grcarlson) moved Xanadu between the two feats logged.
Oh and... Snowwolf mdear - your illustrious movement of Xanadu surely merits a special reward: Just as soon as I get your snail, I'll be most happy to send you one of my bitty passport 'n globe sigs (they're trackable at http://globalgirl.sigitem.com) |
